1. Magnetic Spice Rack
The struggle is real. You’re trying to follow a recipe, but finding the right spice in your jumbled spice rack is like diving into one of those ball pits at the amusement park.
Here’s your fix: pop some magnets on the back of each spice. Stick them to the fridge. Now you can easily find the right one. And it will double as a way to showcase that *ahem* beautiful art piece your kid did earlier.
2. Organized Cleaning Supplies
Keep your cleaning supplies under the sink? Spend a lot of time on your hands and knees searching for the one you need that inevitably got stuck way in the back?
Place a lazy Susan under the sink. Add all your cleaning supplies. With this kitchen hack, you can spin, grab, and go.
3. Sponge Holder
Raise your hand if you enjoy pulling a dirty sponge out of the sink? The dishes have to get cleaned. And a sponge can get the job done. But that doesn’t mean you have to suffer.
Try adding a sponge holder to your sink. Pop the sponge in it whenever you’re done. It stays cleaner. And you don’t have to dig around the bottom of the sin in search of your cleaning tool.
4. Produce and Snack Storage
Produce can create quite a mess in the kitchen. So can all those snacks cluttering your pantry. Looking for a fix?
Use a rolling wire cart to tidy up the kitchen. The best part is, you can roll it wherever you want so it’s never in the way.
5. Organized Kitchen Utensils
Avid cookers know how hard it is to organize kitchen utensils. Drawer dividers help a little, but they’re not the best solution, especially when that spatula inevitably seals the drawer tighter than an Egyptian tomb.
Have extra mason jars or glasses lying around? Each jar can hold something different, from spoons to forks, to knives, to cooking utensils.
Plus, you can get as creative as you want. Attach the jars to a wooden slab. Organize them on your counter. Toss in some decorative items like flowers. Stonemasons may have built the grandest buildings in the country, but your mason jar accessories will be a close second.
